Missing the thrill of doing improv already? Time to sign up for our second summer session.

Click here to register for a class and performance. Deadline is Wednesday, July 8.

Classes are free to students who participated in Fall '14 or Spring '15 Operation: Show! Options for July:

Ashley Osborn will teach you how to add to scenes without stealing focus. (GREAT for teams with more than 3 people!) You'll learn to do awesome walk-ons and tag-outs—advanced techniques you can use in games and longform. And, of course, you'll show off your new skills in the show after the class.

Joey Green will show you how to create great characters using your IRL experiences. You'll start with monologues, use object work to make scenes, and practice bringing your new characters to life. Afterwards, you'll show off your skills in a performance using what you've learned.

Jim Sturgill will keep working with his team to get ready for the KC Improv Festival in September. (To play, you need to attend Operation: Playcation! in June, July AND August, or get special permission from Jim. (Email

All classes take place at ComedyCity, 3600 Broadway, and start at 1pm (sharp, y'all).

We'll welcome the audience in at 3:30pm (note time change from our school-year shows); tickets are $5, and the show is appropriate for all ages.
